Hi Guys,

I have the old sky dish which was used during analogue transmission still there untouched.
Can I still use this to receive channels or is it possible to move the position to pick up other satellites? Would I need to change the LNB?

Anyone able to advise what satellite I would be able to pick up or how best I can make use of the old dish to pick up channels?

First thing you will need to do is change the LNB, the one on the dish will be no good for digital. The dish will be on the Astra 1 group of satellites at 19.2 East, so if you are looking for British channels you will need to moue the dish to the Astra 2 group of satellites at 28.2 East, the cable should be OK unless it has been damaged.
