Lip Sync out on some channels after switchover

ok I've been through the switchover (West) and retuned both my set top boxes. I now notice that some channels have poor lip sync (audio out of sync with video). It is only slight but enough to be annoying. Any ideas?

Other than this and losing use of my old Sony DTV (not compatible) I have seen no change (certainly no improvement) whatsoever.

And we're stuck with it - no recourse.

Not much I guess!
poor encoding at the source end.
When I make DVD's here from the source files I get it on occasions, but can usually tweak before I burn.
Shame the TV providers don't tweak before they transmit the stuff

Hi when this happens to me i unplug box from wall for a few seconds and then reconnect seems to fix it .

whats making dvds to do with Tv channels lol

when making dvds, always check the movie first and also use win avi , good software

I have noticed this also, I don't use a digi box just the TV. Also noticed more picture freezing, not on an aerial on a relatively new satellite dish, as you say, no option but so far, absolutely no improvement.

If the audio is coming before the video you could try sitting further away from the TV. 50 meters will give you 146.2 millisecond delay, A little bit of experimentation will be required to find the sweet spot.
