I have a Eurovox max 3 box and it has suddenly just died??

What happens is when I give it power there is a ':' sign on the display and I cant do anything with it. Will not respond to the remote or the buttons.

I tried to get the Voxer software to connect to it but it does not pick it up.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

hi if you open the box and check the ribbon lead from psu to main board this can pop out as its a to short , failing that check the fuse in your power lead if thats ok there is a wickmann 1 amp fuse in front of the where the power lead fits onto psu this may have blown and need a new one soldered in ,or a fuse holder and fuse fitted as a replacement to the wickman

I was thinking of buying a eurovox, is anyone able to tell me if I can use it by splitting my broadband wire into two, or do I have to have telewest TV as well as broadband?

all you need is a live cable connection in your home your broadband is fine just split with a F type splitter one lead to your modem other to your max
