Question Dumb Starview HD Combo question???

Hi.

What is the best way to delete server lines please?
I have expired ones, and is a pain doing it with the remote.

Thanks.

I don't think you can inset a space, I also don't think there can be a space in a server line - are you sure it's not an underslash _ ?

When I've loaded a new config file from a USB stick, it's overwritten what was previously there, have you tried that.

you can't delete them as such ... either have them active or set at off ... when you have a new server line you wish to enter then just edit the unused one

Thank you guys, and so sorry for the late reply, as I was attending a wedding in the Philippines, and chasing girlies

Well, I will try underslash, tho I know my question seemed daft!

The crazy thing is when I create my config in notepad and upload it to the box nothing is there, although the box askes me if I want to import the new server config!!

Very strange indeed!!!!

Any firmware updates for this box seem to have dried up!!

Starpoo in my past experiences were generally on the ball.

If, and when my supplier informs me of any updates in the pipe, I will communicate it here.

Thanks Bigmaq for your Sly settings.

Very kind of you Sir!

Must have taken you ages to do!

Yes mate I have, as I stated here moments ago, but thank you.
I create for example in notepad C: blah blah
When i save it and upload it nothing appears.
It did before a couple of times, but now no!!
Doing it manually is ok, but there appears to be a space after C: from the test line that was sent to me!!

I did get a 24 hr test line to work once, but it was pretty crap, with lots of freezing.
Too many hops i guess????

Thanks again for replying kind Sir

Don't use notepad to generate a cfg file, try something like Ultraedit. I don't think there should be a space in a line, you may want to check with the person that you got the line from, it may be an underspace _
