more mrom trouble

Hey ho having more trouble with mrom reading and trying to establish a mosc!I click on open card after unlooping and getting bk but it says on the first attempt 'error invalid atr' then when I try to open after that says error reading from card?any ideas peeps?

Whats your setup...what proggy you using is it with a true serial port or you using usb to serial adapter vcp etc.

Have you got proggy in phoenix mode 3.68

Hi

Just reread your post, you say you have unlooped card then you should be using nagraedit 4.1 to read card dont know what you are trying to do with mrom. Be careful mrom will wipe all details off card.

If card is unlooped try boxgetpc and see if it gets your bk.

I was using mrom to establish the card so I can write an image to it in nagra,tried to read it in nagra but keeps saying invalid atr,get box key doesn't work even after unlooping but sidewinder gave me bk anyway and a false ird?9d9dcd45?
using an infinity progger in pheonix mode

And it is a usb to serial converter but I don't believe these don't work because I have never had trouble and a few people I know on here use them fine

Hi

As long as you know its working then ok actually I have one working but I remember took me ages to sort it and it was the 2nd one I bought that worked......anyway clean card contact/chip with rubber/eraser put proggy in phoenix mode 3.68 crystal and open up nagra 4.1 and on same com port as phoenix mode and try reading card.

May not read 1st time but keep trying and hopefully it will read. Have you got another card to try so you know setup is fine.

You are connecting both cables arnt you the usb to serial connector as well as the other usb connector.

Infact sorry to waste your time but many thanks for trying to help mate Think I am gonna finally give up on this game! seen as the nagra 3 is at its beginning stages in my area I am gonna admit I've been beaten! and neatly tuck my programmer away in the hope some genius will hack the new cards and modded boxes will live again!sounds a bit mad max don't it!lol

You`re not wasting my time and I wouldnt give up even if N3 is on the horizon keep trying at least it will give you some satisfaction that you managed to do the card even if its just for a few hrs/days/weeks.

I know a couple of friends who have been give rom11 cards on install last week so who knows you may get a month or two.......Dont give up.

Sidewinder may have fecked the card though as I had one card that after sidewinder the atr was knacked.
