Turin Shroud Enters 3D Age

They had a tv programme about this the other week and i missed it, even if it is a fake its still a mystery how it was done.

The problem with any religious artifact that surfaces around the 13th century is that fakes were rampant. If it's provenance cannot be proved earlier than then, it's a problem to believe it is real.
Is the Turin shroud real? Well it doesn't really matter to me, it's not going to affect my life. If someone wants to believe it's real then go for it. Personally for me I have a problem with religious icons. Religion is based on blind faith, proof shouldn't be needed.

Yeah ive quite a few programs on it, with different theories, all very interesting.

I may be wrong but that is how I see it. I don't think one should need physical proof of the spiritual side of religion. Maybe I'm just blurring the line between spirituality and religious beliefs.
Personally I don't have time for religion but each to their own on that one.

Back to the Turin Shroud though, religious significance apart and regardless if it's 13 century or the image of Jesus it is still and amazing artifact.
