yea just thought if ya could would be better than using 2 cables thats all

so what sort of quality can i expect from using these to cables ??

ordered now so suppose i will soon know just wondered

Not bad quality i hook my ipod to my sourround sound using the 3.5 to 3.5 method and notice nothing much. Not too sure about your vga cable suppose it all comes down to your laptops quality too.

Component Video and VGA with Audio to HDMI Upscaler Converter - HDMI Converter

it will do for now and far cheaper than buying a new lappy!!!!

with the look of it ya cant use rca cables to get the sound it has to be a digital ?
