bought 256 spi progger from fleabay recentl but when i install everything as instructed in device manager when i go into spi proggers properties there is no driver installed i have tried several times to install it it says that software has installed correctly but still no driver for device any help would be very appreicated

Try a diffrent PC and see what happens!!!

what operating system u usin?
not got an spi proggy but could be that m8 as most of me other stuff(programmers) is on an xp machine

i,m on xp pro with amd sempron processor also have tried another pc driver still didnt install wish i could figure it out its doing my ed in

yeah have tried another pc but still no joy contacted the seller as he said installed all files to hard drive still nothing never had any probs in the past with readers and proggers or unlockers wish i could crack this one its a bugger

Try using the legacy driver install option in Device Manager mate.

have tried the legacy option in device manager but cant see what that would do cause it was already installed any other suggestions mate

i'd just sell it and buy urself a usb jtagnt instead

just bought it lol and have been told for ambit 256 you need to spi program

Go into BIOS and check parallel port settings. Should be &378 and ECC+ECP. Check power to progger, should have red LED, and check you are on 3v (the jumper) and not 5.
