Why do you need to boost the Wi-Fi, is the signal not good where you are staying?
If you have a Wi-Fi USB dongle, you could get a long USB extension cable and position the Dongle in a better signal area, or you could get a directional external antenna for the wi-fi if you have an antenna connection on it.
