I'm just outside Lincoln in the East Midlands and there has been a smell of burning paper in the air for the last couple of days. I've also noticed a slight tingling on my tongue and a slight sore throat.

Is anyone else noticing similar and what is your location?

Dark cloud over st .helens at the moment , but it was just the women cleaning the trophy cabinet at anfield .

I can definately tell something is in the air as my chest has been bad all week. Thats the joy of being an ex 40 a day smoker. Any sh*t in the air and i feel it

Its also made a bloody mess of my car and van.They were nice and gleaming yesterday now they are covered in a covering of a horrible grey sandy dust

cant say i can smell anything different, but deposits of sand like substance all over the car..

Large deposits of sand have been reported all along the coast. Glad I live inland.
