Cool eurovox help

I've just got a eurovox ex51000 pvr got the channels up but can only veiw bbc1 itv etc im with virginmedia multi some one i know gave me the codes they use (max v) but can't get in to use them can any one help.

Basically you have bought a box at the worst possible time N3 is the new encryption that there rolling out nationwide that will render all dodgy box's obsolete. It looks like your area has not yet new cards but is set to receive them. You should be able to still get some channels.

So won't there be any new codes or anything i can only get bbc itv i can't even get virgin i pay for on this.my friend gave me 2 new codes to enter and a set of numbers to get on to page to enter them but the numbers don't work he has the max v.
Am i screwed,but then again i've never got something for nothing about my luck.
Anyway thank to all who can give me any information

if using a 5100 this should be the software UFL_EX5100PVR_DarX_16-01-09.
press menu on the remote and go to config, scroll down to sytem ino

Looks like you've got the latest firmware but unfortunately, as said, you're pretty much snookered with n3. Game over.
