Seeing another post that I thought would be about this, but since it wasn't...

For me, I don't do a lot of online games, so much as playing with games that I have loaded on my hard drive. Word games are a favorite of mine, along with some electronic version of some old time boards games.

What kind of games do you play when you want to relax a bit?

Old games. I don't play anything on my PC currently. I really enjoyed Doom, Hexen, and Quake. But I played solo.

I also love word games. I love to play the game tanglewood. It is a lot like the game Boggle.
What is it with all the posts titled something and then you open it and it looks like what is spam?

I am a big fan of The Sims, although I haven't been able to play it in ages. Now that's one addictive game!

I agree, Sims is very addictive! I only have the first one, with one expansion pack, but it works great for me.

My favorite games to play when I want to relax are things like Bejeweled and Mahjongg. I have a CD-ROM that has hundreds of variations of Mah-Jongg with customizable images and music. I also have a companion disk that has many other puzzle-type games. It can keep me busy for hours.

I dunno Tater, but I have noticed this phenomenon on several boards lately. Once upon a time, you only had to worry about spam emails; then it got to where you had to block spammers when you were in chat rooms. <sigh> guess there is just no getting away from these folks.

I have to admit that lately I have been playing a lot of Parchesi on my computer LOL. I haven't played it since I was a kid, but here I am hooked!
