If we all behave like true gents, and surely we wouldnt fall out over the world cup, theres only one home team in it

I won't though and will not likely even be in there (chat room) but had to have some across the border banter

. Or sour grapes for not actually getting to the World Cup. Bah!.

What about a sin bin like they have in rugby.
Naughty boy and you get a day in the sin bin.
Course we would need a ref as well.

use a card system,not like nagra 3 but red card ,yellow card.the mods could issue the cards.

dont think this would work. the mods dont want anything to do with the football section as they said they were too busy to keep monitering it.

I hope that the football section does return as i do miss reading it even if it is just for the world cup and i hope that if it is to return that people can behave themselves.

The 'mods' have not said that, thus that assumption can't be made.

It is Brian's decision whether the Football section returns, or for that matter a special just for the Football World Cup.

The mods will abide whatever is decided in this instance, although sometimes we are able to sway things.

The football threads were getting out of hand while they focused on team rivalries - however, I'm truly hoping that this won't be the case for SA 2010, and that we can have a football section that lasts throughout the World Cup and after.
