What do you mean "Software"

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

aright i have got one 4010 pace updated to 3.7, but my other 4010 pace has had the no update mod, so i thought copy the 3.7 software and put it on the other pace 4010.

It would be easier to solder on a 10k (from memory) resister. The capacitor that was removed served no usefull purpose. With this done the box should update.

This is the easy/cheap option. A suitable programmer to do the NAND flash would be several hundred pounds.

i saw the no 4010 update guide, and saw my box, and my box has the resistor in. i will upload image.

So i am getting confused you saying putting a resistor instead of takeing 1 out

There are actually 4 resisters you can remove to stop the box from updating. Paste a picture of the NAND flash to the side of the spare pads (Toshiba/Samsung)

aright i will take picture and uplaod it, however so the image i put up does it stop the box from updateing, meaning will i have to remove that resistor or add one.

And you say theres 4 resistors you can remove so whats that image about adding a resistor??

I can't remember what combination of values the 4010 had but of the 4 reisters you want to find which was was changed. One will have been added or removed (most likely removed)
