hi everyone, i'm new and trying to learn and understand how to install a cable in my house. im not aware how to describe my box and what i need to do. much help would be appreciated. I have no cards for the two pace boxes that i own. I just need a list of what i need, how i get it and what i need to do.

to be honest, i dont know if it it is a cable or satellite box. all i can see is a virgin logo and with it saying pace.

It's not worth the hassle getting your box modded to be honest. With N3 just around the corner for many people (you may have already gone N3) you will only get around another month of free TV.

N3 is Nagravision 3 encryption which means you will have to pay for all the channels.

so that means having a cable box chipped is pointless completely.. how are other people going to get around it
