starview download problems

PLease Please Please somebody help.i have here my starview and 4 m8s.went down yesterday.looking at post on another forum it said reload crypstar v 1.1 did this with first box-fine(its gone back to its owner now-sigh-)next box fine .3rd box cannot find any channels.4th box 29 channels -all pixelated.checked this forum downloaded 26 jan files and tried them on 3rd and 4th box.Also by this time box 2 had lost all channels -no signal.ive tried crypstar, 26th jan 06 file ,sep 06 file etc all boxes showing no signal.scan finds no channels-factory settings dont help. Got code off working box -entered that manualy- still nothing .Please please someone ,come up with a suggestion ,i'm quickly losing the plot here

glasgow -and brother round the corner has his working buit his codes dontseem to change anything either.could you press menu /system info and give me the date on your flash.brothers is working dated 22 6 06 but mine is 16 8 06 .if yours is 22 6 where did you get the file? ta
