I have a Starview box which needs an update of the software? Channels went blank last Friday, can anyone help me this please?

opened an account with yahoo and got loads of emails and tips, like gmail only yahoo, so far none have worked i am waiting delivery of a s323 cable then will attempt to re flash my box, by following advice from members
