Default Hello everybody

Just bought my first house with my gf and im looking @ one of these eurovox boxes. I noticed one of the admins on here (lincsat) sell them but I assume ill need to 'update' it for proper use. Can anybody please help me regarding this either through the forum or email(airzywade@hotmail.co.uk), please bear in mind im a bit of a noob.

Your help would be great, loving the forum btw!

Given this is your first post and considering trying to acquire Virgin Media cable services without subscribing, it would be worth your while investing your time in looking around the forum and identifying if your area still has any capability to receive Virgin Media at reduced charges.

Try looking for information on NAGRA3 or N3.

Thanks for the reply ernie, i've checked the n3 list and my area wasnt included. I wasnt however aware of the NAGRA3 one.

I am now wondering whether its worth it, any advice?

Simple. Don't do it.

When Nagra3 kicks in the only way you will be able to get all the channels you're after is with a subscription to either Virgin Media or Sky.

There is simply no other way to do it.

TBH it's probably not worth your money as your not likely to have it for very long.
Your better off negotiating with the two big boys to see what they can do for you.
There are some post regarding what people have managed to squeeze out of them on here.
