Default 3 customer service in UK ?

The Indian customer service of 3 lost an important number of mine which I was transfering from O2.I gave them the PAC code and they gave me a date 16 April when the transfer would take place.I called them up on the 16 as my number was still not transfered and they reassured me that it would now take place on the 21 April.I told them that the PAC code expires on the 18 April but the guy said that did not matter as they had already submitted a request for the transfer.
On 21 April the transfer did not take place and so I called 3 customer service again and now they said they could not transfer the number because the PAC code had expired.
I called O2 and asked for the PAC code again but they said the number was no longer in their system.
3 customer service admitted the fault and said they would compensate me by giving me £10.
I am not willing to accept this as my number was 7 years old,so told them to send a new or refurbished phone but they refused.
I am trying to speak to someone in UK about this but always getting to Indian customer service.

Please advise me further

that's 3 for you mate you will get no sense from them ever unless they want to take money from you,
i moved to o2 from 3 and it's a pleasure to speak to an english person when you call customer services.
as for your number keep trying and ask to speak to a manager.

The trouble I have found with these foreign call centres is that the person does try really hard, but they don't listen. You can tell them the same thing ten times, but they won't take any notice, until they have finished their 'script'.

Though I would not insist on an English person, once you've got used to the accent after a minute or two, a Scottish,Welsh etc would be fine. UK call centres for UK!!!

A bit rich since their MD was trying to push that number transfers should take a couple of hours.

Anyway, try sending an email to their executive office and see if you have any luck
Executive.Office@three.co.uk

If they don't help, try their ombudsman, Otelo. If you can't get hold of their number, their email address is enquiries@otelo.org.uk
