Default Can't get any signal on Arabsat

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could tell me where I'm going wrong. I have a motorised system installed and it seems to be well aligned. I am getting Astra, Hotbird etc with 100% or close signal quality, but I can't get anything at all on Arabsat at 30.5E or 26E, not even a very weak signal. I have tried shifting the dish E and W with the manual controls, but nothing. I get Astra 2 at 28.2E perfectly, but 2 degrees over for Arabsat I get nothing.

I have a Pace SD810 reciever, Funke 1m dish, MTI Blue LNB and a Disceq 1.2 motor.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

You should get some of the channels on 26e but you will be struggling to get anything on 30.5e - assuming you are in the UK.

Check out Badr C/3/4 & Eurobird 2 at 26.0°E - LyngSat

Point your dish at Astra 2 28e, set your receiver to one of the stronger active transponders on Badr (use the lyngsat link to find one), then gently nudge the dish west until the signal pops up.
