my question is that i have a n*l p4ce box(model: ditv-1000) for n*l, and i was considering to get the eurovox box, however is that the best choice out of the other brands available such as starview or the dbox.

Hi

I have both the latest eurovox and starview. There isn't much between them.
EPG is kind of rubish for both, can take time to update, sometimes it's quick. Changing channels is probably slightly faster on starview, but starview does seem to have an issue with widescreen.
Recently experienced issues with both boxes, had to do software upgrade on the starview (so much for auto-update BS), whilst the eurovox seems to be alright now.

So, both similar, maybe eurovox is slightly more advanced, but only slightly, whereas i found the starview to be quicker to scan and setup. And starview auto-update doesnt seem to work as well.

I have 2 Eurovox max v3 and i know 4 other people with the same box, all experiencing problems with code updating taking all day. I know 4 people with Replay Lite boxes and they havent had any issues at all (im gonna have to eat humble pie on the replay as i said it was a horrible box)

Hi mrwizard, I have both the the Eurovox Max 3 and Starview boxes, and would go for the Starview box. Reason being, that there seems to be big problems with the Eurovox Max 3 at the moment, as lots of peeps have been losing channels at quite a rate ( automatic auto update not working ) and as for the Starview, using this box at the moment with out any problem as far as picking up channels go, but there seems to be a problem with the EPG( Channel Listings ) and dosen't seem to be working. Hope this helps my man......
