Hi All,
Firstly, Would just like to say what a great site you have here. I have a starview box that went down on friday (26/01/07) after finding this site and using the software in GMAIL, I was up and running within 30 mins. Thank you. Secondly, After rescanning I noticed that I had picked up some movie on demand films. When I later went back to the channel where these were showing a few hours later I had a blank screen. If I rescan around these channels I do manage to find some movies on demand, but obviously theyve already started. Is there a way of getting the movies on demand permanantly?? As I imagine all the movies are there somewhere?!? Is it just a case of finding them seperately each time?? Are there anyways of scanning these movies and keeping them?? Thanks for any advice. And again thanks for the updated software. |

Hi Dave,
I found all the info I needed on here. You need to go into Gmail and log on and download the new file down to you pc and then use the new downloaded file to download to your starview box. If you click on the GMAIL thread its all there. Its pretty straightforward. Hope this helps! |

you will not get ppv permanently on any box mate,on original boxes ie ** owned you would need tallkback on then a valid mac on the box, youll get ppv for a while someone would get charged then they blacklist the box.
However on starview etc if someone in your locality orders a movie you can pick up the stream (hence what the op did) when he went back it was gone, this will happen, also if they pause the film or cancel it then you would lose it also, you can however get box office events like wrestling and sport etc, Marc |
