hi! a friend has given me a few boxes to hopefully fix for him. The boxes will not flash using flash assistant, when the lade... message comes on (using null modem and network cable) the led display should flash and the flashing assistant logo displays. with these boxes the screen flashes at that point but it stays on lade.... since they have already got an image on, i have tried using windows explorer to transfer image and then flash using dbox which i never have problems with. well now when the file is nearly transferred the dialog box load bar sticks (about 80%) and the a message comes up about authorisation the network has closed, anyone got any ideas?

Try using a proper FTP client like flashfxp, there's a copy on the gmail.

With IFA, I have most success with an old version (1.5.6), make sure your firewall and AV is off and all other network cards are disabled, do not try to flash through a router. Try re-booting the PC before flashing.
