hi mate

I dont know the exact techy details regarding all this but I can tell you this is that N3 is not hacked like N1 and n2 was. u can get all info on there encryption if you google '' Kudelski'' as they are the creators of Nagravision.

And as far as getting your channels back well that wont happen and you would need to switch to an alternative option.

Sly use Videoguard as there Encryption and its made by a company called NDS as far as I am aware of it

I would have assume that both work in similar ways... i.e keys updated every so often and so on

If you want to stick to cable and want an alternative option then I suggest you look into the Iconnect + KV A750 and SV6 and SV combo

difference is that this method is actually a C/S method and would require a 24/7 Broadband connection with your box connected to your router.

KV have no time limit on there boxes and the SV 6 boxes have a 12 months time limit... after the 12 months u then have to get the new box.
