I had exactly the same problem and what rectified it for me was doing a factory reset on the image (which was an Enigma non bomb)

It then worked fine again

Just a quick update on this guys.

I tried another receiver and the motor still wouldn't move. I sent the motor back to southern satellite and Ian exchanged it as I was still in warranty.

I have contacted the guy that I bought the motor from and he thinks that it is a problem with the image. I don't understand how this can be an image issue as my 2nd box, which is never used, does exactly the same. I reckon the motor has gone kaputt.

Anyone got any ideas as to what is wrong?
best bet is your connection to your motor take it off the end of the wire and reconnect it wrapping the outer coil around the plastic then screw it back on. if this isnt done properly the wire will send a signal but not enough power to move the motor about ps ialso had this problem

Not just yesterday mine stopped working also on my 800hd, been pretty sweet until.
to test motor i reset to zero aka red button in the settings and dish moved. so i now know motor works!
when i reset to zero i rebooted box, and noticed when i set to zero before it would sit roughly round the 13e area, so i chose a calcio channel, and it was on.
Then i set it back to 28.2, and again ok, but soon as i try and move it again now this being the 3rd time moving one after the other, it would not budge.
i tested this approx 5 times to eliminate other faults and same thign happened, 13e on, back to 28on, want to move to 19e or 13e again and nothing.
Ok so now today i am going to check the image is or is not at fault by doing a reflash.
I will let others know once done and set up again

there should be a manual button on the motor which you can press to move the motor either east or west and also a led light to show that the motor is recieving power depending on the make of motor. should tell you in the manual that came with it

I Have same motor as you the Techomate TM2300.
Yes light green is lit up, if there is a manual movement switch on motor i don't know as i did not install it as a noob with these things.
I did try fine movement via postioner setup and that used to work, but since i noticed fault, it does no longer do this.
I have someone coming on sunday who will have a look at motor and see what is happening.
Thank you

I had a very similar problem, turned out it was a bad connection at the dish end.
