Default What is the difference between Mac OSs?

Alrite people, i'm thinking of getting a Mac but had a few questions, one was about the operating systems. I know theres a few different ones, which is better? I'm a budding designer btw and i'm sure that the new Imacs have the Tiger OS? Is there a better one?

Thank you!

Hi Mayz !

What do you require the OS to do for you ?

I would say the best one is the latest one. Currently it is Tiger but i think Leopard will be out within this quarter.

If you are not a technical user and only require it for File and Print, internet and email any of them will do this for you.

Also Tiger will let you share as standard via FTP/HTTP/SMB/CIFS/NFS you can also use it for vpn with a little tweaking.

Do you require more if so let us know.
