Silver Eurovox with 2 scarts is the Eurovox 2, as stated above. The fix is on the bigmaq or TBC toolbar and the guide is linked in a previous post in this thread.

Tried the link on the tcb.cc toolbar to the firmware update but page won't open - any ideas? or anywhere else I can get the F/W from?

All updated fine thanks, does this really stop the codes having to be put in?

Is there any way of improving the channel listings on the vox coz it is usually all blank?

Only real way of improving the channel listings (epg) on a EV2 is to jtag it and flash it with blue 06 tsop file,you will then be able to load max firmware onto it and the epg will be spot on

as stated many times before br convert it to euro blue via jtag and if you dont wanna buy the stuff and do it pm me and ill do 4 you as ill jtag anyones ev2 to euro blue and also jtag bk to life any clones ect ec etc

Is this to do with something I read about getting another remote control for a different box?

nope m8 this is to do with a jtag a parallele port on yer pc and software to write tio chips on the box itself

search youtube for warzeuwant and you will find a jtag video tutorials
to how to do it kk or send it to me and ill fix it for u usally 24hrs turn around

Had a look at the tutorial, seems easy enough to do but was wondering do I need to buy some jtag cable and plug it in inside the box or can i use the serial cable port on the back of the EV2? Have read a few other posts on here to do with the subjuct but see some have had problems, is jtag'ing stable? and also have read some say about changing the remote control to a blue one, is this needed?

Also any links to all software I will need?
