Hello, I got my Eurovox 2 box about 1 and a half years ago and have never updated the firmware. I'm having a few problems now picking up some channels, so maybe its time to update the firmware? If so:

Which firmware do I need?

What will it do?

Will it fix my EPG?

Will it make my channels come back?

Will it damage my box?

Is it reversible?

Is is worth doing?

Thanks! I know its a lot of questions, but I just wanted to put them all in there now so I don't need to ask again later!

i know how u feel mayz. we r on the same boat mate. i m waiting for some help to download a software for my eurovox 2.

i have already checked the DOWNLOAD FTA section under uk cables but there was no specific software for eurovox 2. they do have it for the newer versions i.e. eurovox max, blue, black and red i think(i have no idea lol)

good luck with your eurovox mate and i will let u know if someone responds to my questions.

the last f/w for the ev2 was july last year but if you buy a eurovox max remote you could upgrade the f/w to latest eurovox max blue box f/w. can you not find your channels again after a scan from the channel list accessed by pressing the tv button ?

i really didnt understand when u said if you have eurovox max remote.......
can u be abit more specific.

and is there a way i could use the eurovox max f/w into eurovox 2???

you could try the eurovox v2 070706 f/w from HERE

As mentioned if you BUY a ev-max remote yes you can flash evmax blue f/w to your box.

yes well look in downloads, also make sure u read threads to load correct firmware or u could brick ur box.
