Default Video Conferencing Solution

Got an IT project on the go. Wont bore you with specifics and the case study unless you wan to know

3 meeting points each with 8 delegates.

All have ADSL2 8Mb. or is SDSL needed?

Requiring 3-way-video conference – good sound and video.

Does anyone know what UK based companies if any have the hardware and software needed to do this.

Also what do you guys think - rough estimates of course. How much bandwidth will be requred for the coferences will it use the whole of 20:1 8Mb connection?

Cheers

Dom

Dom, I used to work in audio conferencing and I can recommend three vendors that might be able to help you with the video conferencing solution. InterCall is a US based company, but I believe they have a call center in Dublin and can handle video from there. In like manner, try Conference Plus. Again, they are a US company, but have a call center in the UK. Also, British Telecom has some arrangements with vendors in the UK to do video. Good luck!

If you're in the UK, then someone I've worked with before is PMC Telecom - check out some of their conferencing solutions here:
Audio Visual Conferencing eqiupment

If you're not certain, then I'm sure you should be able to give them a ring for some recommendations.

Hope that helps.
