just got new tv, sky images rubbish

just got a new tv, 50 inch panasonic viera

great and jaw dropping on ps3 on 1080p and blue ray

but on my tm 500 on sky channels, looks bad well worse then my 42 inch i just changed from

i know its a 400hz tv, and tried with a sky hd box and was great so why is the tm 500 SD channels looking bad? i have turned off overscan and seems to have improved the image

could it be a crap scart>?

Does the TM500 have any other form of output? Ideally HDMI, failing that, component. You'll also need to remember that with a screen that size, you'll need to be about 4x the height away from it, as a guide.

If you have to use SCART - make sure that the TM500 is outputting RGB and that you're in the RGB enabled socket on the TV.

yep says 8ft to 12 ft im 6/7 ft on laptop hd is frawless just sd on that box



no it only has scart or rf , will be getting a hd sat box soon for c/s

check that you've got rgb selected on the output. if you have, thats the best your gonna get

i have g, i moved room about and is ok now as 11ft away lol i got it for 699, brand new on richer sounds sold my 42 for 250, lol so not bad, cheap upgrade
