Hi i am trying to upload channels to my eurovox max v.I have a usb rs 232 cable which i have installed the drivers for off the disk that came with it.I am using a program called Voxer to try and add the ctf file but when i try and send it it tells me no usable communications device was found in this machine.Any help most welcome i am only doing it this way as the way a friend told me so dont know if i am doing it wrong or not.The eurovox box is connected to my pc ok as i can view all my channels and programmes etc.

your box needs to be connected to the pc via a null modem cable and if your pc does not have the nine pin rs232 connection you will also need a usb adaptor (either way you need the null modem cable)
your box should be disconnected from cable feed and TV |

I have a usb connector on the cable that plugs into my pc and on the other end it has the 9 pin connector to go into my eurovox box.I have disconnected it from the cable tv source and removed the scart lead too.I am connecting with my box from my pc through the voxer software as i can see all the channel and favourite info on my box but i cany get the cdf file to transfer to my eurovox box.

I will say this once more only
the usb connector connects to a null modem cable and it is the null modem cable that connects to your box |

Right and that is exactly how i have it, usb comes out my pc and you go along the cable and it has the null modem cable connecter on it which plugs into my box.Is that correct or am just not getting this.
