please insert smart card

as of last night ive been unable to get any movie channels and some others. i still get skysports but not espn. ive done deepscans etc to no avail. all im getting is please insert smart card. does anyone know a solution , thanx.. its a eurovox maxv

It's the BIG bye-bye time regretfully - there is no solution for your EV.

The opt-quoted solution after being N3d is to find an alternative use for your EV - doorstop is the best anyone has been able to come-up with so far.......tho my solution would be to take the top off with a can-opener, rip out the innards then use it as a cat litter tray.

I am thinking of using mine as a clock.Its got a lovely display on the front that tells the time lol

LOL - and a timer function! You can get it to switch-on when it's time to wake up for work.

It'd make an excellent alarm clock for the dreaded work as it'd be silent and not put anything anoying on the TV in the bedroom except "Please Insert Smart Card".

You could sleep-in to heart's content!!!!!!!

Been pricing Vermin and Sly tonight mate on their websites - it's soooo depressing I've decided to hit the bottle (well there's nowt on TV to watch instead of drinking - hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!)

Ev gone in Dundee as well a few movie channels and some of the others but expecting them to disappear. We have had a good run for our money but I suspect it will not be long before some hi-tech will become available this will be the reason a lot of distributors have discontinued these boxes.
