Hi All,
I guess i wont be the only one to have this problem. Since last 2 days all good channels on VM have scrambled and on trying to go back to factory setting and flashing the box again, I am still not able to get them back. Is there somehting i can do differently ? Is there an update in Firmware for EV5100pvr?

Another option i have is connecting the EV to Sky box that i've bought from a friend. The sky box is connected to a dish though. Is it possible to connect the o/p of Sky box to i/p of EV and does it work ?

Look forward to your suggestions.

what area are you in? its likely your in an N3 area by the description you gave

and ev + sky = no

It well may be the case of N3. I am in Edinbugrh.
Do we have a firmware update yet ??

I believe Edinburgh is now N3. No more free TV for you.

No need for a firmware update.

Just place the box into warp drive level three to recharge the Dilithium crystals.
All should be well.

or place it on the back door step, now take afew steps backward and then give it a mighty kick and send it into warp speed into the neighbours garden, if that doesnt do the trick then try a factory reset...

I tried factory reset hammered it a few times now it seems they have all gone to Poland, wonder if I hit the button too hard.:0

You shold have gone with Kerry to Iceland to pick up some more snow. At least Sly Sports is working this weekend even tho ESPN is a gonner in our joint locale (Fife/Dundee). Monday is Bank Holiday so I'm gessing we'll get The Pacific episode 6 - nice of Tricky Dickie to leave Premier on and switch the other movie channels first.
