Default Alligning dish correctly

Hey guys I have got a sat meter and I know that when you get a strong signal it is positioned correctly to the satellite but how am I supposed to know if its at my desired satellite (astra 2)
Im on dishpointer and it tells me my location and the sat data and dish setup data so how am I supposed to set it up with the reading dishpointer.com is giving me?
should i buy a sat compass or do I just try and allign the dish with the green line dishpointer gives me?

You just have to align the dish, using your meter, and then check on your receiver which satellite you aligned to.

Try using a frequency that is unique to the satellite you're searching for.

Only the most expensive satellite meters provide information regarding which satellite you are pointed at.

Without a meter which uses the NIT for identification, you can scan any tranponder and see what channels you get. Do a search on kingofsat, and see which sat the channels you get are on that tp.
