Dbox keeps freezing with high pitched screeching

I have a sagem dbox2 with 1 chip. The picture keeps freezing with high pitched screeching. I have tried anumber of different images but problem keeps happning. Any advice would be much appreciated

if you live near burnley, i could have a look at it for you, have you tried changing ucodes and CAMd settings, also you may need to disconnect modem and card reader, no need to remove, just diconnect multiplug connector.

also try using the box with the lid removed, if it runs fine with the lid removed, then it may be overheating tuner and may need tuner replacement.

please post back your results, if mine or lincsats advice doesnt work on here then it may be a duff box.

i have also found that the most stable image to use is the commando 4 image. try loading this on as well,

Any idea where I could download the commando 4 image at present I am using commado 6? Also where can I download the latest ucodes and games?

I am in Plymouth, do you think replacing the tuner can be done by a normal tv repairers.

By disconnecting the card readers do you mean the ribbons as they already seem to be disconnected?
