But how does the point system work ??

10 points barred for a day ?

20 lifetime ban ?

Get 4 points and you get auto-banned (permanently). Expired infractions don't count. All infractions are have an expiry time, which is given. It has been known for the system to auto ban someone with expired infractions., though. But this will usually be reversed manually, unless the member is deliberately trying to get themselves banned.

The infraction system runs on a 3 strikes - you're out - basis.

That means if a member has 2 active infractions, and gets a third, that member is automatically banned.

Infractions expire after 3 months, in which case, they no longer count, but do stay on the user panel for reference.

The "wrong forum" infraction category was removed after it was considered too harsh - was originally introduced after a flood of new members last Easter posting requests all over the forum - but no longer counts anyway (hence the yellow icon).

So, looking at your profile, you have a clean record again.
