Is your SIM set up to behave as a phone with data, or is it just a data SIM? Can you receive calls and what network are you trying to use? The phrase "unlocked for my network" is a tad odd - it's either locked to a network or it's unlocked, period.

What happens when you put your O2 sim in? Again, are you sure that the O2 sim is data enabled? You can't just pop any old card in and expect it to work - operators get money for providing extra services.

Rather than just moan about what does not happen, tell us what does and we'll hopefully be able to assist further

That really does sound like the SIM is data only - have you tried it in another phone to confirm?

TBH, you are probably best off taking the handset and SIM into an O2 shop, they will be able to point you in the right direction for mobile web and can arrange to sort the SIM issue.

If you'd told us that earlier....

This could be a combination of factors that are limiting the use of your O2 sim, you really would save time and effort by taking it into an O2 shop and getting them to sort it for you.
