Zero my man, Have both the Eurovox Max 3 and the Starviev boxes here, and to answer you question the Eurovox Max 3 works fine and shows everything in full screen ( there is an option in the menu to change from 16.9 or 4.3 ) As for the Starview, it dosen't seem to work just as good, some programs are shown in widescreen and some are not( have tried the settings within the menus but cant seem to get to show all in widescreen mode ).......
Hope this helps my man........ Jinx.... |

I have the same problem.
Widescreen TV (16.9) Eurovox (widescreen) Sky box (16.9) If I watch the news on my eurovox the picture is cropped at the left and right sides, like a zoom function. If I watch the same programe though my Sky box it is in perfect format with full 16.9 picture displaying. Is there a fix for this ? pic |

Has anyone managed to get a fix for this. I have a Eurovox max and the only two options are "full" or "letterbox". With a widescreen source, "full" chops of the sides and displays 4:3. "Letter box" still outputs a 4:3 picture but puts black bars top and bottom. This is not true widescreen support.
Any help appreciated. |

have invested in dbox2 and must say it makes the eurovox look like a very cheap piece of kit. dbox2 has great picture quality and proper widescreen 16.9
