Hi Guys

Is it possible to turn the Eurovox 5100 back to a normal freeview box that you can connect to the aeriel in the loft and just use as a normal FTA Free view box so you can get all the channels you would normally get on a freeview box ie ITV2, 3, Fiver, Dave, Virgin etc etc.

It seems a shame to not get use out of the PVR anymore and was wondering if anyone knew where to find the FTA firmware that originally comes with the box so as to turn it back to FTA box.

Not freeview on an arial, as the tuner is cable and not terrestrial.

You may get minimal FTA (1-5) on cable but thats all.

Cheers Guys wasnt sure if it was possible using the aeriel in the loft, looks like it will be a doorstop or a clock then

so you can watch tv and acts as a booster, why do you think on videos and some sky boxes there is one as well as it has TV MODE
