Question Sat card advice please

Hello

Thinking about getting a Sat card for my HTPC. Should be DVB-S2 for future proofing and prefarably should have good win and Linux driver support. Likely to start off with freeview and fixed sky dish with subsequent progression to softcam +/- motor and may be hardcam and CS in future. PCI or PCIe. Low profile would be a bonus.

I had been considering skystar HD2 but I see it has been around for a while. Is any new version on the way? Any other new cards on the horizon (i.e Blackgold) I should wait for? Where to get it from in UK? And what is the usual price range for these cards? Thanks in advance for any advice.
