Default The Box - help please?

I've lost all my channels apart from 1 to 5 over the last couple of days. I've heard ruours of D-day and the end of freeview boxes and apparantly Virgin are sending out new cards which I haven't yet received

Can anyone shed any light on this? Or even better guide me on getting all my channels back? I live in Bradford. Thanks
