Default Media center help

Hey guys, I'm in the middle of building a media center pc and alls going well. But does anyone have any idea how i could make the media center control my sky box? There is an RS-232 input on the back of the sky box. Does it have anything to do with that?
Cheers

I do not believe this is possible I read up on it a while back and there was no tools for this. Although I do remember about some unix tools that were in the pipeline maybe they are available now.

What software are you using for your media centre ?

One of my friends just sent me this link;

Dusky Control - Take control of your Sky digibox

Looks a bit home made but it seems like this could be just what i was looking for.
