having issues at the moment trying to get the box to take a grooverider image
...

basically going through the process of updateing through usb but always stops at 20% and gives an error message "please check USB Memory stick" ... I've formated my memory stick and tried again ... still same also tried 2 other memory sticks and still get the same message ... I have no problem loading on my cdf that I posted up ... but this only keeps the box as a FTA box and wont let me add any CS info to the box ... need to get latest GrooveRider image on there .but just wont let me ..

anyone got any ideas on what could be wrong or any fix on this? ... lol I've been pulling my hair out all day trying to figure it out!

If it's a new box try loading the December file first, then put the Feb image over the top

tried that m8 ... lol wont load ANY image .. tried everything out there just keep getting the same message on all of them saying "please check usb memory stick"

I had the same problem mate.
Try an earlier image again first, as linc says.
It will work out eventually.

BTW.

My source says that all the SV HD Combos will very soon have access to the cs

Am sure we will all know soon lol.

Will keep you all updated

Thanks for the replies guys ... lol finally got it sorted ... my problem was that I never did a full factory reset b4 trying to install the older images ...

anyway for those that have a similar problem .. I did full factory reset and then loaded the Starview HD Combo v108 with LAN firmware first .. this loaded up fine and then I upgraded the firmware to the latest v0128 and then uploaded the sky channel data file .. and voila I have everything (after enetering my c line

)

Any1 know when the SV HD gets access to the C/S server? I heard it was supposed to be today (thurs) can anyone confirm?

New firmware is out for the HD Combo+ to access the server for free - look for carling.combo if in the UK
