You shouldnt be paying more than £90-£100 for the iconnector
As TheCoder says they could be turned off tomorrow, but this has always been the case, long before N3 & CS came about!!
If you dont want to take the "risk" then your only option is to pay full sub....but where's the fun in that!!
If you think it's a bit expensive you could always buy a starview

How long is it supposed to last? If your spending £250 or so and it lasts 12 months, then its not worth it IMO

Thumbs up Re: Eurovox Ceased Production

Its an add on form what I understand and converts a rs232 into a ethernet

works from the reports I have heard.

regarding on your question of what the box is like I have no idea exactly on what you mean by that.

So far it works perfectly fine... Dont know what will happen when that server is flooded and the freezing issues start to occur.

SV team have launched there as well but after 12 months they force you to buy a new box which is a waste of money in my opinion.

KV have no time limit.

After sending an email to the suppliers I was quoted the price for the iconnector which was 120 quid and the box is around 80 quid.

Sounds a bit excessive tbh - would of thought £80-£100 would of been more like it. Sounds like a supplier making large profits to me !

There's no reason that should happen on a commercial type server. The clients never get near real cards (everything is pre-buffered) so no excuse for freezing. Only limiting factor is server bandwidth but any competent operator would limit clients to any particular server long before any bandwidth problem occurs.

The email was sent straight to the KV team as I was told that no other suppliers have them apprently and you would need to go straight to the manufacturers from what i was told.

personally I wouldnt go down this route as its sucidal and not to mention as you quoted above that its very expensive and to mention alot of folks will be using there VM broadband to use this service which I personally dont trust it seeing as they can find out which packets are being sent and receive.

The method that is being used is actually c/s I would assume and I would have thought that eventually this would cause a freezing problem... a bit like on the sat side when clines are being handed out to loads of users and eventually you see that server is overloaded.

Think you contacted the wrong "KV team". The price should be £80 if you purchase from the main dealer. I do believe there are very lmited stocks though.
