Default Eurovox Ceased Production

I contacted "Iwantabox" today asking for Eurovox only to be told the Official manufacturer has ceased production and any Models available would now be clones and not genuine.

That's great support for you. Just seems a cop-out to leave everyone in the lurch.

Beware buying any cheap Official or non Official Eurovox as they will most probably just be dumping stock.

Also noticed the manufacturer site has gone integra.co.kr

Boxes that work now, won't in a very short space of time and as far as receiving free, premium TV channels there are no solutions. Not one. At all.

Yes i'm aware patched boxes won't work when all areas are switched over to N3.

The starview 6 is working in the Uk and Ireland on N3 now, as does the Kryptview with adapter on the UK.

I actually have a Dreambox 800s so don't need to.

But thanks for the comment.

hmmm... This KV thing
How long is it supposed to last? If your spending £250 or so and it lasts 12 months, then its not worth it IMO

I agree, if the price was reasonable it may be worth it for some.
But the Sat is better for me with 3pm Footie, etc

If you already have a KV then it will only cost you for the dongle - about £70 I think. £250 is steep anyway, you should be able to get the box/dongle combination for £200 at most.

As for the length of time, who knows. As with any CS solution it could be counter-measured tomorrow. Thats the risk YOU take when YOU decide to settle on a CS solution. There's apparently no other limitation though, the dongle is said to remain active for the duration !

Anyway, 12 months would work out at just under £21 per month (assuming your £250 price, which as I said, is steep) which seems pretty cheap when compared to a full sub !
