hi there folks my m8 has a dm500-c and lost some of his channels and after various scans failed he tried to update it and again failed so it now been passed to me

.

ive connected up and the screen is blank. so i connected it to my null cable to see if the dreamup app detects it ok and it does.

but i dont know wot flash/image he had on it in the 1st place and wot is best to put on it now.

its been just over 2 years since i last messed with a dreambox so iam a little rusty, but iam sure it will come back to me.

i just want to know wots the best image to put on it now and also once flashed with dreamup will i then need to put any other files to it via my crossover cable to get it back up and running. or if someones got a working flash they could send me

i know its not a nagra 3 prob yet.

any help would be great thanks peeps

the DW 2.1 or 3 versions are very good.
you need to add the usual magic files.

hi there humforce thanks for the reply iam gonna try flash the version 3 fw on it off the fta downloads section and see wot happens.

when you mean magic files we talking the roms and stuff
