Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to change the tuner on the Dreambox500c to s and if so is there soldering involved or is it just a case if unscrewing etc.

no they dont have interchangeable tuner cards. plus you'd end up spending more than the receiver is worth trying to modify it in the first place.

You also need to change quite a bit more than just the tuner. You have to add all the stuff for lnb power & switching. Really not worth the effort as unless you have a spare tuner already then you'll end up spending far more than it costs for a new box !
