i know that ive just had my new nagra ng-04 card through.. and ive got a chipped card and its still running okay.. or is my chipped card an older card?

But if you still want to do it mate go for it don't listen to all these spoil sports! I reckon its a good idea and can sell you everything you need even old boxes and cards

Hi

Dont think anybody is being spoilsports everyone has given him sound advice so far. By the time he gets the equipment or he gets the grasp of things he may have put money down the drain by buying stuff he aint gonna be able to use.

Ive got loads of stuff that I can flog to him but I havent mentioned it as it gives the impression that Im trying to offload my stuff when its almost worth nowt.

I have asked him what box hes got so can try and advice him of cheapest option but he hasnt replied.

well the first thing you can do is check if there is any refernece to 'smartcard never paired' or 'not paired' in the logs in the box in engineers menu
