Default SKYHD Box

Hey guys..

I'm looking to buy a second skyhd box, which one is the best to go for? Been looking on ebay but unsure. I already have an early one Thompson although I have never had a problem with it, after some reading realised alot of people have..
Cheers for any input...

I've not heard of many problems with the Amstrad's. Mine is an Amstrad, though it's only been out of it's box for about 1/2 hour

Would love to get it out of the way, but alas it will probably still have it's uses every once in a while, and I might endup abit screwed without it if Sky get their way and stop me being able to use the card in a reciever of my choice.

Sorry broke into a little rant there

i have a samsung. it's a decent box however since the new epg was released and subsequently took hold on the box it does tend to slow down every few months, needing a full power down and reboot.
by slow down i mean any button pressed either on the remote or the box it self can take any thing up to 10 seconds to respond. simple things such as changing channel can be a pain. but once it has been powered down and rebooted it's fine again for a few months.
