acer extensa 52302 E, starting problems please help

five mth old laptop wont start up, while unpluged i turn it on and it maks a sound like its gona start (wirring noise) then it stops.

if i plug it in it continues to do this over and over until i unplug it.
i took out the battery and tryed to turn it on but still no help anyone have any experiance with this.

ok so to add to the scinario, i cant for the life of me find the recipt so theyr not enteraining me at all.

right now i have the back cover off and can see the fan i have it pluggd in and the fan starts with almost two wirring bursts and then stops

looking at it from here it looks like its trying to start from cd drive as it runs it every time to start,.

could it be possabile that my son could have accidently set the boot from cd rather than hard drive.

if that is the case is there any site that i could get a recovery disc to start the machine and reconfiger it.

please any one with help

so i have taken out the hard drive while all power is off including battery.

my hope is when i power on it will power from hard drive and not try to boot from cd drive
